Description
The Oak Canyon Trail begins across Griffith Park Dr. from the Travel Town Museum. From here the trail travels southward on a dirt path that parallels Griffith Park Dr. After hiking for 3/4 of a mile on this tree-covered trail you'll pass a junction with the Mt. Hollywood/Toyon Trail. Continue hiking straight briefly to a big bend in Griffith Park Dr., at which point the Oak Canyon Trail ends as it transitions into the Mineral Wells Trail.
