Point to Point
From the large parking area, follow "Lake Trail" signs to the Lake Ann and Maple Pass Loop Trail. The flat, paved trail to the left is Rainy Lake Trail #310, so stay right for Lake Ann. Stroll through the forest and wildflower fields on your way to another junction at 1.3 miles. Here, turn left. The trail to the right continues on the Maple Pass Loop, which is well worth considering if you want a longer and more challenging hike.
