Battery East Trail

This trail leads to iconic south tower vistas and viewing spots. This is a very heavily utilized trail. Off of this trail, the Golden Gate Bridge, all the bay islands, vessels arriving and departing, sunsets and so much more are visible throughout. Tourist by the thousands come here daily for classic Golden Gate Bridge sightseeing. Because there is easy access to the pedestrian and cycle routes across the bridge, be sure to keep your eyes open and look in both directions before you enter and attempt to cross the pathway.
