Description
From the trailhead near Soldier Camp the trail works it way east. It descends and contours along the north aspect of the Catalina mountains. During the summer months, sections of the trail are covered in lush ferns. The other end of the trail, near Mount Bigelow, has a section that runs through a field of raspberries. Much of the trail has fantastic views of the valley to the north, and of the Galiuro Mountains.
