This out-and-back trail starts with a steep descent and levels out as it follows the creek toward the window cliffs. Expect eight or nine creek crossings each way in and out. At the end is an awesome rock formation with steep drop-offs on both sides of the turn-around point. Remember that steep descent to start? This is your last challenge out to return to the trailhead.
Some Issues
Fantastic Trail if you’re looking for a longer hike at Burgess Falls.Although some of the creek crossings, some of the cables used to cross were down as the tree it was attached too had been uprooted. Wasn’t a problem the day I went since the downed cables were at dry crossings. Window Cliffs Waterfalls was also a beautiful site as well
