Squires Lake Trail

The trail leaves from the north end of a small parking lot that perches above the road. The singletrack is a smooth well-benched path that climbs up along a wooded side hill. After a few switchbacks it levels off below a sandstone cliff with a pleasant screen of tall deciduous trees that litter the ground with leaves in the fall. As it continues, the trail briefly widens before narrowing again for the final set of switchbacks that lead to Squires Lake Loop Trail at an intersection near a small and mostly hidden waterfall.
