Hugo Peak Trail

This is a wonderful hike or trail run through various forest types. Starting from the parking lot visitors will hike through a damp and cool forest. After crossing the 1000 Road Loop Trail a climb through a dry hot area begins relief comes soon as you reenter a mature forest and continue under canopy cover to the top where you'll find a bench and a trail register. Though the name would suggest a beautiful vista, the end of the trail ends in a mature forest and trees block any views there may have once been. There is a short 0.1 mi side-trail from the top that does have some limited views of the nearby town, Eatoville.
