The trail surface is consistent and clear to follow the whole way to the top. It's a mostly dirt path, although sometimes it'll turn to gravel. The top has spectacular views and the east facing side of the mountain is steep enough for people to launch hang gliders from.
It can be pretty crowded, but it's still a fun hike. It's pretty close and nice for a quick outing.
