Salado Creek Greenway (South)

Salado Creek Greenway (South) connects the San Antonio City Parks of South Lions, Covington, MLK, and Pletz County Parks. The southern trailhead currently resides at South Lions Park off Pecan Valley Drive on the southeast side of San Antonio. Currently, it ends in the hotel area which serves the San Antonio Military Medical Center north of IH35. There is currently no posted plan to link the North and South portions of the Greenway as Salado Creek flows through Fort Sam Houston between the two trailheads.
