Description
This wide trail starts out as a grassy doubletrack. The first portion of the trail is shaded and passes through dense underbrush. Once the trail turns to the north, the footing gets sandy, and the trail becomes more open, with a small inlet visible now to the west. About halfway, you'll come to a deep sandy stretch with several wooden benches along the side of the trail. Keep hiking, and the trail will eventually pop out at a small beach area near the northernmost point of the trail. Take a breather or dip your feet in the water here before continuing on the trail which now loops back to the south through the dense underbrush to end at a junction with the Osprey Trail.
