The paved trail at Whitt Riverbend Park is just a couple miles off of 460 and can make for a nice short hike in the middle of a long drive and can easily be combined with the dirt River Bottom Trail for a couple mile hike.
The paved trail starts from the southern end of the parking area and starts out paralleling a gravel track. The paved trail comes to a junction and from here, loops around the meadow.
At the southern end of the paved trail is another junction which leads further south and to a sign labeled "Trailhead". This is one end of the dirt singletrack River Bottom Trail. The paved trail loops back on itself and you can return the way you came back to the parking area.
Be sure to be friendly out there and say "hi" to the folks you see!
