The Widforss Point Trail follows the canyon rim for approximately 2.5 miles/4 kilometers, then heads into the forest to emerge at Widforss Pointa distance of roughly 5 miles/8 kilometers one way (almost 10 miles/16 kilometers round trip).
This trail is easy to follow. It travels along the rim above a dramatic tributary canyon that drains into !Bright Angel Creek. Then heads into a lovely forest of conifers and aspens. Superb views of the Grand Canyon appear when reaching Widforss Point.
