It starts level, but then a huge descent to Meditation Point. This is a rock that juts out and you can see the lake, Table Rock, the cove that eventually runs into McGalliard Creek. Goose eggs (and a mama goose) and fresh water mussel shells have been seen on the point. Take time to enjoy the tranquility just a few miles from downtown Valdese.
