Aiea Loop

Start at upper parking lot in this park with camping and picnic tables. The trail will immediately become singletrack and follow the ridge somewhat north but mostly east with view off to your left. At a viewpoint to the east overlooking the highway, the trail will make an abrupt turn and head south and then southwest still staying on the ridge. Soon the trail will begin dropping from the ridge, will enter a more covered section with creek crossings and may become muddy and slick. Finally, there will be a short climb as you reach the lower part of the park and the terminus of the trail.
