Description
This section is largely a short road walk to Chico Hot Springs to enjoy the midpoint of the trail. (792 to go) This section also provides a convenient point to jump off the trail to visit Yellowstone National Park 30 miles to the south or visit Livingston/Bozeman 25 miles to the north. Both side trips are worthwhile and highly recommended for quick break off of the trail or a gear resupply.
