Description
To get to the start of the Riverside Trail (Red), take the Main Trail (White) from the park office building. Hike about 75 yards. The Riverside Trail trailhead is on left. Go down the stairs and cross the Trout Brook. From here, the trail runs along scenic streams--Rhinehart Brook, the Black River, and Trout Brook. At 0.56 miles is Wintershine Trail (Orange), at 1.05 miles is Haki Trail (Lt. Blue), at 1.35 miles is Tree Pools Trail (Blue), and at 1.9 miles, the trail ends. Now you can take the Main Trail (White) or Windy Ridge Trail (Yellow) to loop back to the start. The trail is gravel for most of the way, but along Black River, it is narrow and rocky.
