Point to Point
This trail begins where the Briar Patch Trail crosses the park road. There, it is a doubletrack path used for bird watching tours that runs directly to the lake. The Bigfoot Trail branches from the north side of the trail approximately one-third of the way between the road and the lake.
Near the lake, the trail becomes singletrack and works its way along several tree lines and fence rows until it meets up with the Briar Patch Trail loop.
The mosquitoes and flies can be bad in this section during hot days. Bug repellent can come in handy.
