Description
A well maintained multi-use trail that is shared by bikes and hikers. This section of the river's edge trail begins at the amphitheater at the top of the road down to the Boat Launch. Although parts of the trail follow the campsite road which isn't very interesting, another section follows a highly eroded bank of the river that is interesting. After the campgrounds, the trail drops down to the river's edge and a good sized sand bar that's good for fishing or swimming. The trail ends at an oddly-placed intersection whereupon horses are also allowed.
