Acadian Trail

Starts in the Visitor Center parking lot, or along the road (quicker access). We did the counterclockwise loop, climbing along with the stream in the shade. After most of the climb, you come back around and start getting views. There is a large red chair to sit and admire the view at one spot. Moderate climb back down through the forest. Very pleasant way to hike 5 or 6 miles with a 1,000-foot climb.
