Willow View Trail

This trail provides access between the East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD) Chabot Staging Area on Redwood Road and the Brandon Trail in Anthony Chabot Regional Park. A major purpose for this trail is to act as a link in the Bay Area Ridge Trail. If you begin this trail from the EBMUD Chabot Staging Area on Redwood Road, begin at the edge of the (free) parking lot next to Redwood Road. You can cross the road on its surface or through the creek culvert as conditions permit. Follow the trail as it contours adjacent to Redwood Road. The trail then turns up the wooded hillside, switching back through numerous turns until it reaches the Brandon Trail. From this point, the northwest-bound Bay Area Ridge Trail turns right onto Brandon Trail.
