Description
A brochure for the interpretive hike can be picked up from the Wheeler Gorge Visitor Center (open Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm). The numbered posts correspond to stops in the brochure. A small parking area and the trailhead are located on the west side of Hwy 33. Follow the trail under the bridge and along the creek. When you reach the junction, turn right to for a counterclockwise loop and continue following the creek. There is a small waterfall between posts 7 and 8. Continue along the loop, stopping at will to follow the interpretive brochure. At the junction, take another right to head back towards the trailhead and parking lot.
