Fuller Ridge to San Jacinto is a 45-mile out-and-back trail located west of Palm Springs, California. Beginning at Highway 10, the route winds its way from the desert to an alpine environment atop San Jacinto Peak (10,834'), the second tallest peak in Southern California. This strenuous route is part of the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) and features incredible biodiversity and scenic vistas overlooking San Bernardino, the San Jacinto Wilderness, and surrounding valleys. It is an ideal overnight backpacking route that is suitable for runners, hikers, and backpackers. Wilderness permits are required for day and overnight use in the San Jacinto Wilderness (see below for details). PERMITS AND CAMPINGPermits are required for both day and overnight use.
