Description
Saddle Trail is most commonly used from the old barn along the Mad Creek Trail to the intersection with the Red Dirt Trail as part of a loop in this area. The trail climbs from the barn through increasingly thick green vegetation. The elevation gain is moderate, and never too difficult, but it's consistent. With the thick vegetation and wooded surroundings, you'll quickly feel like you're getting away from the busy Mad Creek area, and headed into more adventurous terrain.
