Mill Creek Falls

Mill Creek Falls in the Warner Mountains, not to be confused with Mill Creek Falls in Lassen Volcanic National Park, or the Mill Creek Falls in Montana's Bitterroots, or another Mill Creek Falls in Oregon, is an 80-foot tall falls lying a quick hike from Mill Creek Falls Campground. Though the falls are impressive, the trail ends at an overlook point, and the steep terrain surrounding it doesn't allow for any closer access to the falls. Regardless, the falls see very little foot traffic due to their location in the secluded northeastern corner of the state. From the rear of the campground, a trailhead is signed. Following the gentle incline along the Poison Flat Trail, a sign marks the turnoff to the falls. Though Mill Creek Falls Campground remains open year round, all services are closed during the snowy season, and the road in is frequently beneath snow throughout the winter. Vault toilets and water are available in the campground seasonally (typically April through October). Otherwise, there are no amenities at the trail.
