Description
Parking lot is on Crystal Creek Road, 1/4 mile from Highway 299. Trail follows along a historic irrigation water ditch built by Charles Camden. The ditch is on one side of the trail and Crystal Creek is on the other side. The hike is on the ditch levy (doubletrack width) and elevated walkways. Along the way are historic diversion structures. Unfortunately much of the trail is scarred by the 2018 Carr Fire. It's a beautiful hike with plenty of views of the trees and surrounding mountains.
