Description
Beginning at the turn off Rhododendron Trail #185, this trail has a gradual grade, then climbs slightly before a quick down/up through a small gully. After a steep climb, the trail reenters the woods (watch closely for the trail markers). Another steep up and down through a pine thicket takes you to a longer downhill. The trail then climbs once more on an old road bed. You then begin a descent on a tighter section of the old roadbed before it opens up and descends to its intersection with the paved road near the campground. You can go left or right on the paved road to intersect the Lake Russell Trail.
