White Pine Trail

One end of this trail is on SW Fischer Lane in the NW of the arboretum, while the other end is at a small parking area on SW Fairview in the SW of the arboretum. From the SW Fischer Lane end, the trail begins by heading north, past a spur to a single parking spot, and to the very northwestern corner of the arboretum. There it turns south and comes to an intersection with a spur to the oldest Doug Fir in the park and the Bristlecone Pine Trail. Continue south between some large homes and the park. Most of this half of the trail appears to be "natural" forest like you find elsewhere in Washington or Forest Parks. Next you'll pass Bristlecone Pine Spur, a connector to the parking area, a bridge, and an intersection with the Fir Trail. After this the trail gains some elevation on switchbacks through hemlock trees before ending at SW Fairview (from which you can access the Wildwood Trail via White Pine Connector).
