Description
This is a flat, grassy trail that starts by going south from the main parking lot in Cross Ranch State Park near the visitor center. It proceeds through ash and cottonwood forest, then turns north and follows the Missouri River past cabins and yurts that are available for rent. It crosses through the park to the west, then turns back south and ends just north of the visitor center. This is a good place to go in the winter, as the forest and higher-elevation hills to the west block the prevailing winds out of the northwest. This trail provides access to the other trails in the park, including the Ma-ak-oti Trail Upper Loop and the Matah Trail.
