Despite numerous people at the viewpoint, there was plenty of room to set up a tripod and take photos.

The canyon is bigger than I imagined. For scale, you can see a person sitting on the ledge on the left side.

Description
It is hard to miss the parking lot as it will be swamped with cars and people. The trail is very straightforward, short, and easy to follow, though it can be a bit sandy. The view of Horseshoe Bend is amazing, and there are many views all along the ridge. Be careful because it is an sharp drop off of 1,000 feet or more at the edge!
