There and Back
This lovely trail leads visitors up and over a ridge. Grades are fairly gentle however, and the views are well worth the effort of climbing the ridge. This area is quite popular with many native species, and you'll have some great opportunities for wildlife viewing. There are plenty of other signs of animal traffic such as footprints and droppings. Keep an eye out not to step in any! It's especially important for visitors to be careful of bison. The trails and the surrounding area are both pretty dry. You'll want to bring plenty of water and sunscreen as there is little cover.
