Aviara Oaks Loop

Traveling clockwise, the trail has quick turns and short climbs until you hit Aviara Parkway. Then dig in for a long climb before you dive back into the dirt trail. Parking is at the Aviara Community Park which adds about 0.25 miles to the listed mileage.Trailhead: Exit the I-5 in Carlsbad at Poinsettia. Head east for about 2 miles. Turn left on Ambrosia and follow into the parking area.
