Description
The trailhead is near the parking lot at the resort and is clearly marked, however, the signs can become confusing. Begin on the Lodge Trail, quickly coming to an intersection with the Two Lakes Trail where you'll turn right. The Two Lakes Trail weaves through most of Roman Nose State Park but you'll be hanging a right at its junction with the Switchback Trail. The trail is designated as multi-use but excludes equestrians and offers some amazing views of the area from some of the highest vantage points available. This section is home to some more difficult terrain in the park. Watch your step, but be sure to look up and catch the awesome vistas.
