Dudley Trail

This trail leaves from Chimney Pond campground. It is a short, but very steep (class II) scramble to reach Pamola Peak. This trail is almost entirely above tree line. No water available on this trail. This hike is very strenuous, but easier than Cathedral Trail (Class II/II+). The trail starts off mellow in the trees, but quickly steepens. Above treeline, you travel along a boulder field following painted markers. Hands are often required to climb over boulders, but fall potential is relatively low.
