Kodachrome Road

One of many routes through the Rainbow Gardens, just east of Las Vegas. The trailhead is well marked off of Lake Mead Blvd. Beginning from the trailhead, you'll first start on a climb though the trail isn't technical and the grade is slight. About halfway through, you'll begin an equally mellow descent to the bottom, near Clark County Wetlands Park. From there, head back the way you came, or take the Rainbow Gardens Road, or Lava Butte Road to get back to the trailhead. Bring lots of water, as there won't be any shade along the way. Be sure that you don't leave any trash behind. Pack it in, pack it out.
