Description
The top of this trail winds through chaparral as it heads away from Skyline Blvd. Soon you'll enter mixed evergreen forest as you continue descending into thicker tree cover. The upper portion of this trail has more ruts and roots than most others in the park, so watch your footing, especially after heavy rains. Otherwise, it's a pleasant descent on wide doubletrack all the way down to The Crossroads, with no trail junctions to worry about until then, so just relax and enjoy the trail.
