Description
This is a well-groomed and easy singletrack that runs alongside Saint Louis Creek. The scenery is pretty with views of Byers in the distance and wildflowers in the meadows. There are a couple sections that still contain deadfall and stumps from the clear cutting of beetle kill pine in the area, but this does allow for more expansive views toward Byers so it isn't all that bad. The Creekside Trail also connects to Chainsaw and the Creekside Loop for a couple different options if you would like to add some variety to your hike. This is a very popular trail for hikers, runners, and beginner mountain bikers and borders the St. Louis Campground so don't expect to be the only one out on the trail. Be courteous to other trail users you may encounter them at various points.
