Mostly singletrack trails are used on this moderately rated route, which offers opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, backpacking, and trail running. This route takes place entirely at high altitude with an elevation range between approximately 10,400' and 12,500' and an overall gain of 4,451'. Be prepared for quickly changing weather, look out for afternoon storms, and know what to do in case of lightning. DESCRIPTIONFrom Monarch Pass, take the Colorado Trail (CT) / Continental Divide Trail (CDT) north.
