Description
This yellow-blazed trail leads from the Elderslie Preserve parking area south past some glacial erratics and through a small meadow to a stone foundation that dates to colonial times, then heads west through the forest before coming back north through another small meadow. There it briefly follows the wooded Red Trail at Elderslie Preserve before veering off to wind through the forest to dead-end at the Orange Trail at Elderslie Preserve. The wooded segments are hilly/rocky at times but well maintained. The two meadow segments on the southern loop were somewhat overgrown with briar in early fall; some might prefer to bypass these areas by taking the red trail from the parking area until the yellow trail forks off it.
