Trail 9

Trail 9 is one of the best trails at LTP, nice scenery and has a good hill to climb. I almost always see deer on this trail. The best way to get to 9 is to take Trail 7 east to its end. From that point, you'll see a lake. Bear right towards the dam of the lake and hike across it. After you cross the spillway (be sure to check out the cool little waterfall there), Trail 9 trailhead will be on your right approximately 50 feet past the spillway. Trail 9 ends near the trailhead for Trail 8 which you can take to loop back to the spillway area.
