Short Beach

From the trailhead, descend a series of wooden steps through dense tree cover to Short Beach. Once on the beach, cross Short Creek by hopping a series of rocks placed for ease of crossing the creek. Look out towards the Pacific for views of Three Arch Rocks which are sea rocks containing arches from constant battering by waves. Head north along the beach to reach views of Larson Creek Falls. If you head south around the rock headlands, you can find tide pools abundant with anemones, sea stars, sea urchins, and barnacles. Be careful of ever changing tides and slippery rocks.
