Description
This is an easy, flat, looping trail that takes one through the cottonwood forest along the Missouri River in Cross Ranch State Park. The trail crosses through some upland areas with an opportunity to see prairie grasses, flowers, and birds. The east side of the loop follows the Missouri River and offers great views of geese, ducks, and bald eagles. This loop can be accessed via a connector trail from the parking lot near Sanger Boat Ramp (at the south end of the park) or via the combination of the Interpretive Trail, Ma-ak-oti Trail Upper Loop, and two connector trails.
