Description
This short .2 mile trail is one of the Storybook Trails that can be found in the TN state parks. This trail tells the story of Brother Eagle, Sister Sky which is illustrated by Susan Jeffers. The trail departs from the area next to the playgrounds and is marked by yellow markers as it makes its way through the pine trees. The trail is a singletrack dirt track through the pine trees where there are wooden panels with illustrations and text for you to interact with. There are questions or activities for you to interact with. After climbing a short hill, the trail breaks off to the left and circles back toward the trailhead. While you could hike the trail in either direction, the story is told in a counter clockwise, so it is recommended to hike it in that direction.
