Description
This trail runs between Yanceyville Rd and Southshore Rd, both of which have dirt parking lots to access the trailhead. Starting from the Southshore end, the trail winds its way through the woods until you reach a meadow with large power lines. From there, it's back in to the woods for a short downhill section before popping back out to the meadow. Once back in the woods you'll come across a small bridge before coming to a decently sized hill with rock steps. From there the trail rolls along beside Lake Townsend before coming back out to the meadow by the lake. Take a sharp left back into the woods at the waters edge. The trail then continues by the lake with rolling hills until you reach Yanceyville Rd.
