Baldy Road #3N01

This road is used to access San Antonio Falls, the Baldy Bowl Trail, and the Baldy Notch area which connects with trails to the north and south. It begins as a paved road adjacent to the Manker Flat Campground passing a few houses then makes a bend where a short spur trail leads to the falls. The road turns to dirt and passes a junction with the Baldy Bowl Trail #7W02 in 0.8 miles. From there, it climbs steadily with intermittent shade from oaks, bigcone spruce, Jeffrey pines, and white fir. It passes under the ski lift then reaches the notch near the Baldy Ski Lodge.
