Little Maui Trail #4425

This is a popular and frequently crowded trail that starts just through an opening in the fence along Old Hwy 8 and the Old Ranch Road Trail #4426 (aka the Jeep Trail). You'll be climbing up the western edge of the Labyrinth scab land more-or-less following a seasonal creek. You'll pass the Little Maui Hidden Canyon Connector Trail and start climbing. After a climb Little Maui Falls will come into view at the west end of a switchback (a few small wet-season waterfalls). You'll also pass through some oaks which provide the only shade on the trail. Eventually the trail does a very large switchback to the east before crossing Little Maui Creek and ending at the Old Ranch Road Trail #4426. Note: many of the turns have two options, a banked one for mountain bikers and another "for" hikers. This is useful for letting everyone pass without stopping.
