Beginning at the parking lot which is also the trailhead for Falls Branch Trail and Horseshoe Mountain Trail, follow the white blazes. The first 0.65 miles follows the shore of Lake Catherine. Falls Branch waterfall is located at about 0.65 miles. The shortest route to the vistas is to go to the left after crossing the creek at the fall. The trail isn't marked but just continue to go uphill. A sign will direct you to the right. The trail is marked going in this direction.
