Union Rock Lake Trail

This easy trail runs from Union Reservoir to Elephant Rock Lake where you have your choice of what to do next. We came out here on a whim during a rare storm in 2014 and didn't know what to expect really. There is a popular car-camping spot at Union Reservoir, but Elephant Rock Lake was a relatively small lake. Elephant Rock itself looks like a fun climb, but we were not able to climb to the top because of the rain and lack of gear. I definitely want to come back here at some point and explore the area further as there seem to be a number of trails to explore and a great opportunity for a variety of activities ranging from hiking to climbing to fishing to camping.
