Little Lake Trail

This trail leads to Little Lake, otherwise known as L Lake, above Upper Canyon Creek Lake in the Trinity Alps Wilderness. The path is not on most maps and can be difficult to follow at times, and you'll want to watch for stacked rocks to guide the way. Snow can be expected into July, but access is still possible over the snowbanks. Cross-country hikers can reach Kalmia Pass from this trail. Expect very cold water in the crystal clear and shallow lake.
