An easy to intermediate hike with some elevation gain to the top on Eagle's View Trail. Hiking Elkhorn Trail and Oxen Draw Trail in a clockwise direction leads into the forest and allows hikers to climb Eagle's View Trail where the best views of the park are located. When the weather is clear, Pikes Peak can be seen in the south. Also watch for wildlife such as deer and birds at this point. On the way down through Raven's Roost Trail, the tread is more like a small service road. Most of the trails are in the shade, which is very nice during the summer. There are inner loops for shorter distances, but the best view may not be seen if you don't hike the full loop on Eagle's View Trail.
