Description
This route begins on the Main Trail which takes you first past the Nature Center. Stop in to get oriented before heading out on your own to explore the area. The Main Trail is part of the Riverview History tour which takes you out to an overlook of the river. From the overlook, you'll backtrack and stay left to stay on the Riverview Trail. From there, you'll divert from the interpretive trails and swing by Nature Study Pond via Meadow Trail. Here you'll find more interpretive signs. As you follow the Meadow Trail north, learn about the wildlife and plants that live in the area. This hike is a great option of the whole family. The easy trails are great for short legs and the interpretive signs means everyone has the opportunity to learn something. Views and sightings of birds and other wildlife are abundant.
